No! For the Landlord / Letting agent / property manager, the Swipe Property Management CMS system is cloud based and can be assessed from any device, anytime, with an internet connection. You also get access to the free property manager mobile app which is a filtered down version of the main system, with features that you might like to access ‘on the move’. For tenants, they use the free mobile app, which is available on both IOS and Android.
Swipe Property Management Software was originally developed for a campus of student properties by its founders back in 2016, originally called Student Swipe. Since then the software has developed substantially to be suitable for both the private rental market as well as student accommodation.
When using the Swipe Property Management System there is no minimum amount of rooms you must have when using the system. We can cater for portfolios of 1 room through to over 3,000 rooms.
Yes! You will be assigned a dedicated account manager and have access to our dedicated support line. You can find the number for our support line on the contact us page.
Yes, staff training is available. We offer a full 8 hours of training upon completion of the onboarding process of your new system. Usually carried out in 2, 4-hour blocks. Additional staff training is available at the cost of £45/ hour and can be delivered remotely, online.
All Maintenance staff can gain access to the Maintenance manger section of the software. Staff having access to parts of the system is under the accommodation managers control as access can be restricted per user in the internal users section of the CMS.
Data on the Swipe Property Management system is stored on a cloud-based system and this is stored for 6 years. The system is fully GDPR complaint.
Tenants have 2 ways of making payments via the app. The payment options are either by direct debit or one-off single payments. For Direct debit payments we work with a third-party payment provider call GoCardless and for the one off single payments we work with either Braintree or Stripe. All payments are recorded in Transactions in the payment manager section.
The app is available through the App Store & Google Play Store to download on iOS & Android.
Yes! The app is connected directly to your landlord / letting agent when you find a property, so you can pay your rent through the app using our third party secure payment partner, Braintree.
